PROFILE: CalAmp, a NASDAQ company, is a telematics pioneer leading transformation in the connected vehicle and Industrial Internet of Machines marketplace. Through their software applications, scalable cloud services, and intelligent devices they inspire a new world of daring opportunities. Industries like fleet transportation, insurance, consumer goods, and construction are discovering new ways to drive productivity with their complete end-to-end telematics solutions. Some items born from the engagement was a new company slogan "Connecting Tomorrow Today", lead artwork for their annual report, graphic icons that became widely used throughout their marketing communications, as well as a more defined marketing language for various services and products.

CHALLENGE: When we met them, the company was growing rapidly and executing on their expansion plans. The challenge was that despite this growth, their brand and messaging was somewhat fragmented. They needed to simplify their message under an overall brand umbrella while still communicating the value propositions of their multi-faceted organization.

SOLUTION: Through an in-depth consultative process that involved meetings with executives, employees, and vendors, we were able to assist CalAmp in clarifying their company, product and eventually brand position.
